The SS Warrimoo, a passenger steamship traveling from Vancouver to Australia, was silently knifing its way across the mid-Pacific waters. The navigator had just finished calculating a star fix and handed the results to Captain John DS. Phillips.
The Warrimoo's coordinates were LAT 0ยบ 31' N, LONG 179 30' W. The date was December 31, 1899. "Know what this means?" First Mate Payton announced, "We're only a few miles from the intersection of the Equator and the International Date Line."
Captain Phillips was prankish enough to seize the opportunity to do the nautical feat of a lifetime. He summoned his navigators to the bridge to double-check the ship's position. He altered his course slightly to focus directly on his target. He then altered the engine's speed.
The calm weather and clear night worked to his advantage. At midnight, the SS Warrimoo rested on the Equator, exactly where it had crossed the International Date Line. The ramifications of this odd arrangement were numerous.
The ship's bow was in the Southern Hemisphere, in the middle of summer. The stern was in the Northern Hemisphere, in the midst of winter. The date on the aft portion of the ship was December 31, 1899. The date on the forward half of the ship was January 1, 1900. The ship experienced multiple days, months, years, seasons, and centuries simultaneously.
Sateen and Exquisite are pretty much your average married couple, except for that they’re also a well-known drag show duo. And they make sweet electronic music together. The New York-based producer and vocalist are busy recording a new album, planning music video shoots, and hosting the city’s hottest party, but the ladies behind “Treat Yaself”
I just love cross dressing! It gives us gurls a wonderful way to express ourselves. For me it's a absolutely divine way to be creative and sexy at the same time! And as some of you may know, nothing feels better ...well almost nothing feels better then silk panties and nylons! For me it's SO HOT!!!!
Pity I didn't meet my partner in my younger years, as this would definitely have been us.

Every middle aged and elderly woman I meet was once just a little girl. Every man I meet was once just a little boy. I love seeing peoples baby pictures because they all really do look like themselves. You can see their child self in their adult face. It’s always a part of you, it's not some separate entity and it's not only in the past, you carry every age with you. You will always be you.

Don Warrington has recently defended the classic British sitcom Rising Damp, asserting that it should not be altered for contemporary audiences. He argues that the show, which originally aired in the 1970s, captures a specific time and cultural context that is essential to its identity. Warrington contends that any attempts to modify the content or themes to align with modern sensibilities risk undermining the show's original charm and social commentary.
He emphasises the importance of preserving its authentic voice, as the humour often reflects the societal attitudes and issues of the era, offering a valuable lens through which to examine the past. In his view, rather than sanitising or rewriting the series, it should be appreciated for its historical significance and the way it challenges viewers to engage with the complexities of its characters and situations. This perspective highlights the necessity of understanding and valuing classic television in its original form, rather than imposing contemporary interpretations that could dilute its impact.

Have you ever noticed quite how weird Gardner Street in the West End of Glasgow is? It's completely flat for about two-thirds of its length, and then it suddently shoots up at an unrelenting 40 degree angle. This is because it's built on a glacial feature called a drumlin. Drumlins are low rounded hills left behind by a retreating glacier, and Glasgow is built on a whole swarm of them, some more than 60 metres (200 feet) in height, left behind after the last ice age. However, not all Glasgow hills are drumlins. For example, the hill the necropolis is built on isn't a drumlin. Instead is the remains of an extinct volcano, but it too has been sculpted by glacial action, with the ice whittling away the outer rock, leaving just the central plug of solidified magma sticking into the air. So next time you are slogging up one of the city's many hills, just remember you're climbing part of an ancient glacial landscape. It won't make it any easier, but it might just distract you from your efforts for a few minutes!
Tabea from Zurich, Switzerland. Has been cross-dressing for 25 years, I started to learn my makeup routine 10 years ago. During the first years it was all about exploring feminine clothes. After some years I started to work on my makeup skills and finally found time to get dolled up in female mode on a regular base. During the last couple of years, I had some amazing experiences to do some professional photo-shoots in different places.
In addition, I had some outdoor adventures too, like meeting like minded cross-dressers to share some thoughts about our special world. I love the amazing selection of clothes and the endless possibilities to style. For me its all about to get into a completely different role compared to my usual male life. My goal is to become an authentically woman as much as possible when i get myself ready for a makeover. I really love the elegant and classy looks, especially the more exceptional outfits, like ball gowns or bridal gowns.
