lastly, i’ll say i’d try not to focus too much on being ‘the before’ of anything, because i think that is rooted in comparing yourself to some ideal homemaker or ideal woman, and there is no such thing as the perfect homemaker, wife, or woman! every woman, marriage, and home are different, and i think when we let go of comparison, we allow ourselves to have a healthier mindset, which will show in other aspects of your life.
