There's currently a big thread going around of farmers posting photos "proving" that there's no biodiversity crisis or wildlife depletion issue in the UK. All the images are of monoculture fields and overgrazed hillsides and the thriving wildlife is just overpopulated deer and gamebirds released for shooting. According to farmers those things are all signs of a healthy, thriving ecosystem.

As much as I'd like to defend British farmers, it's exhausting seeing how so many of them are against any kind of rewilding or reintroduction of native species, how many deny the biodiversity crisis in the UK and how many defend farmers that cause damage to what little natural habitat we have left etc.
