in reality, i believe we are all actors in one great, big play, hoping someone will realize that our role is not exactly us, hoping that someone will take the time to find out who we really are.

and that kind of love, the kind where there's this mutual but profound understanding, where people really look beneath the surface, i think that's what we look for. because what is love if there is not first understanding?
