I’ve not done a “work in progress” on a painting post for a while , so here’s one that came out of the blue or my recollection . This is called “Match Abandoned” which I’m doing in a kind of Lowry style Back in the 1976 Northwich Victoria were on a FA Cup run, actually knocking out my team Witton out in an earlier round . This is Vics v Peterborough which was 1-0 to Peterborough when the mist and fog from the River Dane crept in and smothered the Drill Field ground to which the game was abandoned . Vics won the rearranged match 4-0 the following Tuesday night Anyway I recall I went to this event and was reminded of this image as the other day i was messing about with various background colours and a murky green and mist colour came out , and it recalled this random image to my brain . I think artists tend to store various strange images . Anyway a lot to do on this yet and populate the then Volunteer Pub .

I enter My hotel room after a long day of meetings and find a sissy slave kneeling in front of My bed.
