Life on the River

There are some people who could hear you speak a thousand words, and still not understand you. And there are others who will understand — without you even speaking a word.
I stopped explaining myself when I realized people only understand from their level of perception.
By living deeply in the present moment we can understand the past better and we can prepare for a better future.
I wasn’t sorry I existed any more. I deserved to live. I deserved to find love. I knew now―I believed, now―that I deserved to be loved.
Don’t compare yourself to others. That’s when you start to lose confidence in yourself.
I must learn to be content with being happier than I deserve.
You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.
