Simplicity such as short cuts and pony tails do not cut it.

Why would calling passion or desire a “sin” make it more appealing? How cliché. I don’t see you as something shameful. I’ll not cheapen you by referring to you as a sin. You are my goddess, my divine.

Confidence is rooted in a genuine sense of self-worth that is not dependent on external validation. Sense of self refers to your perception of the collection of characteristics that define you. A woman who has a strong sense of self and self confidence, and isn’t ashamed to show it, is hugely attractive and elegant, in my opinion.

Be careful how you treat a heart. They are attached to someone’s soul. Break a heart and you will break the soul as well. The heart may mend, but the soul may not.

Love means you give them their freedom to choose if they want to stay or if they want to leave. But if you truly love them, you do everything you can to show them and give them all the reasons to want to stay.

You deserve kindness from others and you deserve kindness from yourself. To be treated gently is not something you have to earn, you deserve gentleness because you exist in this world.

Not many people talk about how deep emotional neglect hurts you.

I’m afraid to want things. I’m afraid to ask for help. I’m afraid to tell someone something if they seem in a bad mood. I can’t process when someone is nice to me. I can’t handle rejection, but my brain literally short circuits if someone gives me a compliment to the point where sometimes the rejection is better.

There are lots of overlap with emotional abuse, but emotional neglect hurts just as much. And it’s even worse that it usually goes undetected, so a lot of people can’t tell they’re being neglected until it’s too late.
