The fields of Antrim in Northern Ireland are covered in complete darkness, the narrow roads are abandoned. A lonely car tries to find its way along the old roads which is wedged between decayed Irish stone walls what makes it like constantly driving through a dark tunnel. Then one turn right and the trees seem to bury you beneath their monstrous arms…the Dark Hedges. According to a legend, the hedges are visited by a ghost called the Grey Lady, who travels the road and flits across it from tree to tree. There are several rumours about her origin. Some say she is the spirit of James Stuart's daughter Cross Peggy. Others say she is one of the house's maids who died under mysterious circumstances. A third theory says she’s a spirit from a near abandoned graveyard beneath the fields… suddenly a rustling.

Art Deco

Tte Haunch of Venison in Salisbury, another pub with some claim to be amongst the oldest in the country. Parts of it date back to 1320. The current interior is not that old, but it’s pretty ancient, and is Grade II* listed. It’s genuinely atmospheric, and has a real fire and 4 quite interesting Real Ales
